Thomas Lee Frazier, Sr., 70, of Mt Airy, passed Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, after an extended illness. Tom was married to Roxanne Frazier. He was born May 25, 1945, in Kingsport, TN, and raised by his mother, Ola Lea (Stallard) Frazier. Tom was a mechanic and owner of Prospect Motors, in Mt Airy. He enjoyed joking, woodworking, riding his motorcycle with Roxanne, and his time as a crew member of Natural High, a world record holding rocket powered car.
Tom was preceded in death by mother, Ola, and brothers Don, Jerry and Larry Frazier.
He is survived by wife and best friend, Roxanne (Mayne) Frazier; sons Thomas Lee Frazier, Jr and wife Laura, Brandon M Frazier and wife Melissa, all of New Market, MD; stepdaughter Chasidy Whetzel and husband Steve, of Mercersburg, PA; granddaughters Haley, Madison, Chloe and Reagan Frazier; and grandsons Dain and Daniel Polyniak; as well as brother Bill Frazier, of Lake City, FL. Tom was always grateful for his brother-in-law and buddy, Rick Mayne, of Mt Airy, and longtime friend, Larry Flickinger, of Libertytown.
Services will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, in Winfield, on Monday, December 14, 2015, at 3PM, with Rev. Bud Lusk. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 13, from 3 to 6PM.
