Vadonia Mae (Payne ) Cox 86 of Eldersburg, died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at Carroll Hospital Center. Beloved wife of the late Dorsey Eugene Cox. She was born December 18, 1924 in Richmond, VA the daughter of the late Claudius Linwood Payne and Late Annie Elisabeth (Thompson) Payne. She was a Secretary for the Federal Government. A member of Elders Baptist Church and a Former member of Calverton Baptist Church. Devoted Mother of Randy and wife Debbie Cox, Christine and husband Gil Valdes and the late Greg Cox. Loving Grandmother of Kylene Nickoli, Beca and Megan Valdes. Dearest Great-grandmother of Adam and Jack Nickoli. The family will receive friends on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Funeral Services will take place Saturday January 29, 2011 10 AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with the Rev. James Edmonson officiating.
