Vernon L. Jessen, age 76 of Sykesville, MD, died on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:38 pm.
Vernon was the husband of Darlene H. Jessen.
He was born July 23, 1942, in Ellicott City, MD the son of the late John C. Jessen and the late Anna A. Jessen (nee Oren).
Vernon worked for the Solo Cup Corporation.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Vernon L. Jessen Jr., Robert L. Jessen, Robyn and husband Edward Duafala. Also survived by his grandchildren Genna Duafala, Brittany Bates, Emily Duafala, Kimberly Jessen, Steven Duafala, Erik and Adam Jessen, also survived by sister Hazel, Beverly, Boots, Dot and Mary
The family will receive friends at the BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018, where and at which time the Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Christopher Sperb of Faith Lutheran Church officiating.
