Vivian Bassman

Vivian Wolfing Bassman, 62 of Sykesville, unexpectedly passed on June 2, 2007 at her home. She was the beloved Spouse of 30 years to Kenneth C. Bassmann. She was born October 8, 1944 in Baltimore , MD the daughter of Harold Wolfing and the late Vivian Ruth Wolfing. Mrs. Bassmann was a Kindergarten Teacher in the Anne Arundel County School System and also for the department of Defense in Germany . Mrs. Bassmann traveled extensively and lived abroad for several years. She was a Master Gardner and very artistic and creative., was an avid reader. She raised 2 wonderful children, Heather Bassmann, who is following in her mother’s footsteps as a teacher, and Gregory A. Bassmann, who is currently attending NY Medical College. She is also survived by 4 siblings. A Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 2 to 4 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
