Walter Lee Chrobot, age 68, of Taylorsville, died Saturday September 27, 2008 at York Hospital in York, PA, as a result of an automobile accident in PA. He was a master carpenter, painter and farmer in Taylorsville, MD. Recently he retired due to health issues and devoted his life to farming, his home and his family. He was born in Howard County, Maryland on March 14, 1940 and was the son of the late Comus Chrobot, Sr. and the late Elsie V. Chrobot (nee Swartz). He is survived by his wife Margie A. Chrobot (nee Arrowood) and four children; Karen Lee Matulonis and son-in-law Wayne of Sykesville, Walter Lee Chrobot, Jr. and daughter in law Susan of Baltimore, Michael Eugene Chrobot and daughter in law Krisie of Hanover, PA and Mickey Chrobot of Taylorsville. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister Shirley J. Bennett of Fairfield, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Comus (Sonny) Chrobot, Jr. Funeral Service will be Thursday October 2, 2008 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mindy Coates of Mt. Gilead and Patapsco U.M. Church officiating. Interment Jennings Chapel Cemetery, Woodbine, Howard County, MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
