Walter Dorsey “Teeny” Simpson, Jr., age 66, of Westminster, died Wednesday, January 09, 2013 at the Carroll Hospice, Inc.-Dove House in Westminster, MD.
He was born May 17, 1946 in Laurel, MD the son of the late Walter Dorsey Simpson, Sr. and the late Alice Mae Whitehead Simpson.
He was the husband of Diane M. Simpson (nee Colson) for 25 years.
He served in the US Army 1965-1967 during Vietnam. He was an Excavating Foreman for HTI Contractors for 32 years, retiring in 2011. He was a Member of the Westminster American Legion and the Westminster Moose. He enjoyed fishing, Deer Hunting and playing Bingo with the ladies.
Stepfather of Thomas Pickett, Jr. & companion Lisa Kemmer, Belinda Gonder, Melissa and Scott Linton, Timothy and Amberly Pickett all of the Westminster Area and Tina and Matthew Cromwell of Hanover, PA.
Also survived by children Walt, Kim and Julie Simpson and Brother of Gary and Clinton Simpson and another brother and four sisters; Also survived by 13 grandchildren; Amanda, Greg, & Taylor Gonder, Katelyn and Emily Linton, Ashlyn and Autumn Pickett, Dennis Stonebreaker, Matthew and Mason Cromwell, Samantha and TJ Pickett predeceased by granddaughter Sarah Linton.

Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784,(Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM; where funeral service will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Clifford Bowling and Rev. Danny Bowling officiating.
