William Barnes

Mr. William T. Barnes 85 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was the spouse of 62 years to Thelma (Shipley) Barnes of Mt. Airy. Mr. Barnes was born April 4, 1923 in Frederick County, MD the son of the late Harry Hanson Barnes and the late Lola Ardene Chaney Barnes. He was a plumber for Van Sant Plumbing and Heating and a Farmer since he was 12 years old. Graveside Services at Prospect UMC Cemetery will be Private. Mrs. Barnes will receive friends on Sunday 2 to 4 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784.
