William A. “Brownie” Brown, Sr., age 85 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Monday, January 25, 2016, at Kline Hospice.
He was born March 3, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Harry & Mary Nellie (Markey) Brown.
Loving husband of 68 years to Helen Belle (Rhoton) Brown . He worked for the Montgomery County School System as a window glazier. Mr. Brown was a member of the Mt. Airy Volunteer fire Company for 55 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is his sister Dorothy & husband Edward Alder, and Edith & Husband Joseph Cole. His brother Robert & wife Barbara Brown. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Mr. Brown was predeceased by his son William A. “Tiny” Brown, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM & 6-8 PM on Friday January 29, 2016 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
