William Cunningham

William A. Cunningham, age 83, of New Windsor, died Monday, January 09, 2012 at Lorien Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, MD. He was born March 6, 1928 the son of the late Howard F. Cunningham and late Anna Caroline Patterson Cunningham. He was the husband of Elena D. Cunningham (nee Tomarchio). He was a retired Specialist Five (E-5) in the US Army for 20 years. He was in the military police and engineers and a member of the Calvary. He served 3 tours in Korea, 2 tours in Germany and 1 tour in France. He was the father of Diana Gray and her husband Chip of New Windsor. Grandfather of Forest, Hunter and Breanna Gray. He was the youngest of ten children whom all predeceased him. Catholic Prayer service will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School), with the Deacon John Martin of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Libertytown officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
