He was the spouse of late Anna Mae (Brown) Deitz
He was born April 17, 1927 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late John Deitz and the late Mary Elizabeth (Poe) Deitz.
Mr. Deitz was a Battalion Chief for the Baltimore County Fire Department. He enjoyed Fishing, Crabbing and Blue Grass music.
Surviving him are Son and Daughter-in-law Terry W. and Donna Deitz of Granite, Son and Daughter-in-law Gregg W. and Mary Deitz of Finksburg. Grandchildren: Christine Elizabeth, Tracey, Amanda Lee, Kyle and Eric Deitz. Preceded in death by Brothers Harry E, John Austin and Ferdinand Henry Deitz
