William Krautler

William Henry Krautler, Jr., age 97, of Woodbine, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. He was born December 17, 1914 in Savannah, Georgia the son of the late William H. Krautler, Sr. and the late Edith Gladys Metcalfe Krautler. He was a planner, estimator and machinist for the US Naval Ordnance Lab. He loved playing the saxophone. He worked on the farm all the time. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Saunders Krautler of 52 years. He was the father of Diane Ashelford and William H. Krautler III. Grandfather of Edward Michael Ashelford, James Robert Ashelford, Carol Lynn Ashelford, Jim Baker Krautler, Bill H. Krautler, IV, and Mark Gordon Krautler. Brother of the late Marion Krautler. Friends may call the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 AM at which time funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating.
